Changing Course is the story of a life that rarely followed the expected path—from growing up outside Washington during the Cold War and coming of age in the 1960s and ’70s, through the beginnings of the Information Age, marriage and family, career successes and setbacks, and a return to sailing that ultimately led to a new life in North Carolina.
Along the way are stories of family, friendship, love, loss, technology, travel, music, boats, and the choices—some carefully considered and others decidedly not—that changed my course.
